From Scott's Desk
This month's network beat is finally here. We have been busy this month keeping our client's computers up and running in this hot weather. But now that things are cooling down it is time to relax and begin the new school year.
So while you are sitting in lecture ignoring the professor, it is a great time to become a fan of Timbuktech on Facebook and Twitter and keep up with all the things we can do for you.
I hope that everyone has a great school year and that you will trust my staff with all of your technology needs this school year. After all, it's because of customers like you that we are in business. Thank You!

Protect Yourself
As the school year starts and you send your children off to school, it is important to make sure that your computer stays safe from viruses. TimbukTech's IT Service Saver is a great way to make viruses a thing of the past. We will remotely monitor your computer's vital signs to make sure that everything is running effectively and efficiently everyday.
By monitoring your systems, we can stop viruses before they start. You can surf the web with confidence knowing that if you do stumble across a virus, we will take care of it before it can do any damage to your personal data. So this school year, surf the web with confidence knowing that a virus will not attack your computer.

Wireless Networking
Wouldn't it be nice to sit on your couch and print an important document without leaving the couch? With wireless networking in your home this is possible. You can access files on other computers and do just about anything you could ever want to do on your computer all without leaving the comfort of the couch.
Businesses everywhere are using this technology to access files located on different floors and wings of their buildings. So it sounds like it may be difficult to set up, but if you let our experts at TimbukTech do the work for you it is easy. Our staff will set up your wireless network and will answer any question you may have. So this year make being a couch potato easier with wireless networking in your home.

School and Football
School is starting again and that means that football is ramping up as well. So it is time to start digging out those tailgate recipes, but why not serve something new this year? We have found a few websites that have great recipes for tailgating.
1) www.foodnetwork.com – What website would have more recipes for tailgating than the Food Network? Food Network has recipes ranging from side dishes to rubs and sauces that are perfect for tailgating.
2) www.grilling.com – This website is sponsored by Kingsford. Who would know more about grilling and tailgating than Kingsford? This website has recipes and will guide you through each recipe from kitchen to grill to your tailgate!
3) www.marthastewart.com – Martha Stewart has great recipes, and she has got some easy tailgating recipes. She has even got recipes for grilling side dishes that you may never even think of, not to mention recipes for deserts done on the grill!
